PureChat live chat review
When you go to the PureChat website and click on “start today,” you are immediately taken to the plans pricing comparison. There, you can choose the plan with the features you need, or create a free plan and start a trial.
PureChat is a simple and functional solution. It offers many customization options to match the look and feel of your company’s website.
The look of the application
It works like an instant messenger but also allows you to see previous transcripts from conversations with customers. In the menu above you’ll find the dashboard, reports and your account profile where you can change your profile settings, schedule hours in which you are available, set up canned responses and many more.
In your dashboard you can see incoming chats, all your chats you already had, team members and websites.
The app has a really nice design and looks very clear.
Chat implementation – great info
To implement Pure Chat on your website you need to copy and paste the code or you can use plugins for Shopify, Weebly and WordPress. Once you have done that, you can customize the look of the chat. You can use different colors, set triggers and create the forms that people fill out before they start a conversation.
I believe the reporting is one of the biggest benefits of Pure Chat. It allows you to see your chat metrics over time and download results. Thanks to this you can track customer satisfaction and improve your customer service. The reports are nicely designed and provide us with beautiful graphs.
Pure Chat doesn’t allow to attach documents and tag conversations and this is a big requirement when it comes to chat services. Customers shouldn’t have to move their conversation to email just to send a screen to the agent.
When it comes to tagging a conversation it helps to organize and categorize all the conversations. It makes it easy to identify weak points within the product and work on improvement. I believe Pure Chat should work on this feature.
Pure Chat integrates with HubSpot, Infusionsoft and Google Analytics out of the box and many other apps through Zapier. I just couldn’t find the info about all of them. I went to the zapier.com website to check it and I saw 12 recommended integrations but I guess you need to sign up to see all of them.
PureChat offers 4 plans. Solo, Business, Growth and Enterprise. You can pay for it monthly or annually. The prices are reasonable.
Pure Chat doesn’t offer a free trial. However, they offers a free plan in which you can have 1 operator, 15 chats per month, 3-day chat history and native mobile apps. With this plan you can test out the system a little and see if the design fits your needs, but the true functionality comes only in paid plans.
The verdict for PureChat
PureChat is a great tool for business of every size. Unfortunately, the free plan allows you to only test small operations with just a few features and one rep. If you don’t mind that along with just a few missing features that others provide, you will find the right plan for you.
